- about myla: It all began when I was about three years old sitting on my mother's counter top cleaning the spoon and bowl as I "helped". An obsession began, that I have yet to get over. Well, a lot as happened since then. After several years of working as an Engineer, I decided to return to my creative passion for entertaining, party planning and of course cooking. A transformation occurred from simply enjoying food to creating delightful tastes with charisma all their own. myla represents a winning combination of southern charm, a passion for entertaining and baking, and the discipline of engineering. Sound like a pretty unique mix...I think so too! This is me, this is my Louisiana.
